| Staengl Engineering is a mechanical and
HVAC design firm focused on energy-efficient system
design for buildings and industrial facilities. Founded
in 2002 by Galen Staengl, P.E., we are a small group
of highly qualified and dedicated professionals with
a passion for design excellence and responsive service.
At Staengl Engineering, we believe that the principles
involved in energy-efficient and sustainable design
are integral to good design practice. We have extensive
experience in the design and commissioning of systems
for high-performance building projects, including
several recognized by the US Green Building Council
as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
projects.

Galen Staengl designs cutting edge energy efficient
heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
systems for green building projects. His diverse
background includes work in the chemical process
industries, the pharmaceutical industry, and
the building construction industry. Throughout
his career Galen has worked to bring energy
efficient and sustainable design principles
into his projects. As President of Staengl Engineering,
llc., Galen has designed mechanical systems
for award winning building projects including
schools, institutional buildings, and office
buildings. Galen is currently working on three
building projects intended for LEED certification
at the Platinum level, as well as several other
LEED building projects.

| Galen is a graduate of the University of Virginia
with a BS degree in chemical engineering, and
a certified professional engineer in California,
North Carolina and Virginia. He is also a LEED
Accredited Professional. |
